It's only three days into the New Year, and already there are some great sales going on for a fashion and beauty addict.

Of course, Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works are having there semi annual sales, which I can't wait to peruse.

Another sale I am excited about is for YMI Jeans company. They are starting 2012 with the Daily 5 Deal. Every day there will be something different on ymijeans.com for just $5! How amazing is that? It's going to be hard to pass up such a great deal this year.

Top Beauty Products of 2011

Tomorrow is the last day of 2011, so I have been thinking about my favorite products I have tried this year. Here are my top favorites:

1. Revlon Lip Butters

Of course, I have to include what has to be the most amazing lip product to come out this year, Revlon Lip Butters. I am so obsessed with these, that whenever I see a new color in the store, I have to purchase it. Currently, my two favorite colors are Berry Smoothie, and Cherry Tart, Cherry Tart actually being the first red lipstick I can pull off with my pale skin. All of these lip butters are so pigmented, yet still sooo moisturizing, that I have been reaching for these rather then any of my other lipsticks since these came out. They have been amazing for the dry Fall and Winter months. You can find these in Target, Ulta, and ,many other drugstores, ranging from 7.50 to $9.

2. Redken Aerate 08 Bodifying Cream Mousse

I received a sample of this in the mail earlier this year, and have been loving it ever since. I have tried countless volumizing hair products, and this is the first one that I feel has really made my hair look as full as possible. Instead of a fluffy mousse, Redken Aerate 08 is a souffle like texture that you just smooth over your hair and blow dry. I have been using this all year long, and it has definitely been my favorite styling product of 2011. It is 16.50 at most beauty stores, such as Ulta.

3. Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Masque

I FINALLY got a chance to try this out last month, after hearing so much about how great it is from other beauty bloggers. And they were all right! It has the most amazing smell, and really makes my hair feel softer and healthier every time I use it. I wish I could use it more then once a week, that's how much I like the smell and feel of it. It is kind of pricey, at $30 for the jar, but it lasts a really long time and is so worth the money.

4. Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer

Before this year, I had been using Clean and Clear Morning Burst moisturizer, and Estee Lauder Hydrating Cream. But I found this year that they haven't been working as well on my skin as they used to, so I picked up the Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer at Target for $12. I am so glad did, because it is by far the best moisturizer I have tried, I like it even more then Estee Lauder,which was $30. It truly lives up to the name Positively Radiant.

5. Urban Decay Naked Palette

I couldn't end my 2011 favorites without mentioning the Urban Decay Naked Palette. I have been using this nonstop this year, it has so many pigmented colors, you can create any day or nighttime look. It is perfect to just keep out and grab when you are in a hurry to do your makeup. You can buy this palette at Sephora or Ulta for $48

That's my top five beauty products of 2011, I can't wait to try many more in 2012 :-)

1. Hello Kitty Liquid Nail Art: These cute bottles of nail polish, shaped like Hello Kitty, are in the pretiest pastel colors, perfect for Spring. With names like Pink Sprinkles and Banana Cream, they sound as delicious as they look. At $10, they are a little pricey, but the cuteness factor may be worth it.

2. Hello Kitty Fragrance: This would definitly be my cutest fragrance bottle. With a mix of floral and vanilla scents, I,m sure this smells just as pretty. $55 at Sephora

3. Hello Kitty Compact Mirror: Every girl needs a compact mirror, and what better then to have Hello Kitty? $18 at Sephora

November Favorites

So, I just realized it is the last day of November. So I guess I picked a perfect day to restart my blog, since I can do my November favorites. Here's what I’ve been loving for the month of November:

Maybelline The Falsies Volumizing Mascara: I have been using this almost every day this month, alternating with my Maybelline Lash Stilletto. Reason for this is that I ran out of Lash Stilletto Volume, and haven’t been able to find it in any store yet. So I bought the Falsies, and am in love with it. It doesn’t give me much length as I want, but the volume makes up for lack off length.
Softlips Vanilla: My lips have been really dry this month, so Ive been using Softlips a lot. My favorite flavor is Vanilla. I haven’t tried all the flavors yet though, so I am looking forward to trying some new ones really soon. Anyone have any suggestions for their fave flavors I can try?
NYC lipstick in Lilac Dream: I don’t usually like wearing dark lipsticks, but Ive been reaching for this one a lot this month. Guess its my way of incorporating the purple trend of the season.

I don’t really have a lot of favorites for this month, as it’s been very busy and I haven’t tried many new things. Hopefully next month I’ll have more for you :-)

Restart and April Faves

Wow, so I haven't updated this blog in 7 months. Im SOOOO sorry. Things have gotten really hectic, but I will start this blog up again now. I'll start with my April favorites, since the last post was September favorites.

1. Matrix Amplify Texturizing Spray- This is probably the most expensive hair product I usem but it is so worth it. It is the only thing that gets my hair to feel and loom as thick as I want.

2. O.P.I. Nail Polish in Teal the Cows Come Home: I heard about this color on youtube a while ago, but never got around to purchasing it. I finally did a few months ago, and used it for the first time last month. Ive used it multiple times since, becuase it is such a pretty blue color and I love it for spring, and now its still perfect for summer. You can buy this at Ulta and Sephora.

3. Nars Orgasm Blush: My ABSOLUTE favorite blush of all time, I can not live without this blush. It brightens up my pale complexion perfectly, and still lasts a very long time wven with every day use. Definitly worth the $25 at Sephora.

Hi everyone!

So, ive decided im going to try to do a monthly favorites post, starting with the month of September. Basicaly, i will just be telling you what beauty products I have been loving during the month. So heres september...

1. Loreal liptick in Fairest Nude- A lot of youtube beauty gurus were recomending this color, so I finally decided to buy it, and am so glad I did. I never thought i would like nude lipcolor, but it is so amazing, it goes with pretty much any look. Im definitly going to be using this color for a long time.

2. Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Wash- still my all time favorite body wash, I dont really use anything else. Except in october, when I switch it up to pumpkin scented body washes( review coming in my Octiber faves post) :-)

3. Maybelline Full and Soft mascara: I ran out of my Maybelline Sky High Curves, and Target didnt have it in stock, so I had to buy this one. Ive used it before, but never really thought it was better then sky high curves. Now I do. I love how full my lashes look using this mascara. Definitly recomend this.

4. gold nail polish: i know, not realy a specific brand or anything, but this month I just loved wearing gold nail polish. I dont know why, I guess I was just feeling golden. :-)

So, summer is coming to a close, and Fall is just around the corner. What are you going to be wearing this Fall? Heres some tips as to whats hot for this coming Fall season.

1. Studs: Studs on anything is hot this season. On belts, bracelets, purses, they'll all look very in style.

2. Purple Nail Polish: The hottest color for nails right now is purple. Any color purple would work, but especailly neon, becuasue neon is another trend for fall 2009.

3. Neons: From neon pants, belts, accessories, even makeup, neons are the colors to wear this season. These sunglasses are from Forever 21.com

4. Bangles: My favorite trend for Fall 2009 is bangles. Every style bangle will work, which is why I love this trend so much.

5. Ruffles: Anything with ruffles will look good this season. I love shirts with ruffle collars, they will look good whether you dress it up professionally for work, or casually for school.

Product Review and Comparison: Sunsilk Waves of Envy Sea Mist Spray vs. Garnier Fructis Surf Hair Texturizing Spray

Sunsilk Waves of Envy Sea Mist Spray

While this spray did leave my hair soft, like it claims, it didnt give as much texture as I would have liked. It did make my hair wavier then I can normally get though.

The smell is salty, which, compared with Garnier's citrusy smell, gives it more of a beachy feel.

I had to use more of this product to get the same effect as I got with less of the Garnier Fructis Surf Hair Texturixing Spray

Which Product is Better?

I would definitly reccomend the Garnier Fructis Surf Hair Texturizing Spray over the Sunsilk Waves of Envy Sea Mist Spray. While both products do give my hair texture, the Garnier givesa lot more texture and volume with less product.

Product Review: Garnier Fructis Style Surf Hair Texturizing Spray

I'm not sure if this product is still being sold in retailers, as I couldnt find it on Garnier Frucit's website. But here's a review of it anyway, since Ive had this product for a while now, and use it occasionally.

It smells really good, kinda citrusy. It claims to "provide definition and volume to hair with a flrxible hold anf non gloss, matte finish. It definitly gives volume to my super flat hair, which is a plus. I tend to use this spray on bad hair days, when my hair won't volumize for anything. It won''t give my hair beach waves unless I really work at it, but for me, thats not a problem since the only thing I really ask for in any product is volume. If your hair is thicker, and tends to curl easily, this may be able to give you easy waves. And I know if you already have curly hair, it will give you the loose beachy waves, since I used to use this when I had a perm.

Later this week, I will review the Sunsilk Waves of Envy Sea Mist spray, then do a comparison of the two. Which one do you guys think is best?

1. Nars Orgasm Blush: I waited so long to purchase this, and am so glad I finally did. Its an amzing blush, very pigmented, but still adds just the right amount of flush to my cheeks. You can get it at Sephora for around $25

2. Maybelline Expert Wear eyeshadow pallete in sunbaked neutrals: I have been wearing these shadows as my everyday look for months now. I may post a picture tutorial on the look soon.

3. Clean and Clear Morning Burst Moisturizer: This is my all time favorite moisturizer. I use it every morning befire applying my makeup, and my skin feels soo smooth and healthy.

4. Pantene Pro V Shampoo and Conditioner for Volume: I use these shampoos and conditioners the most, since I find it gives my hair the most volume.

5. Pantene Pro V Nourishing Deep Conditioner: I use this once every few weeks, and my hair feels super healthy after each use.

6. Tresseme 24 hour Body hair spray: My current favorite hairspray, it holds my style without leaving it flat and sticky as others tend to do.

Jane Be Pure Aquaceuticals Sheer Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 Review

I bought this tinted moisturizer , becuase I am sick of how regular foundation makes me look to made up, but i still want some coverage for days when just pressed powder isnt doing it. Being this is the first tinted moisturizer Ive ever used, I dont know how it compares to others. But here are my thoughts after using this product.

Pros: Blends in completely to my skin, its like Im not even wearing it.

Perfectly matches my skin tone, unlike most foundations.

Leaves my skin looking smooth and even toned, with the perfect amount of coverage

Cons: Smells very sunscreeny when you apply it. But that could be a good thing to, becuase I know it will be protecting my skin from the sun

Very greasy when you are applying it. The greasiness doesnt last, its just when you first put it on.

Despite the cons I mentioned, I would definitely buy this tinted moisturizer again once I run out of it. I love how my skin feels with this on, and how bright anf healthy my face looks. I wish it came in a bigger bottle, becuase I can totally see myself using this up in less then a month.

I would give this 4 out of 5 stars, only because of the smell and greasy application.

Rite Aid Haul

Hi everyone! So, I went to Rite Aid today to get some pics put onto a cd, and decided to do some shopping. Since its all beauty related, I thought I'd share with you what I bought!

First of all, I had to get my leave in conditioner becuase I am running out. Its Pantene Pro V Detangling Light Conditioning Mist. (This is the one product in this haul that I have used before) I have been usung this for years, becuase my hair tends to tangle after showering, and I need this just to get a comb through it. I have yet to find a different leave in conditioner that I like as much as this one.

Ok, now here are the new products I boughtm that I have never use before. Iwill be doing a review on some of these products in the near future, after I have started using them.

1. Pantene Pro V Nourishing Moisture Replenishing Mask: The winter has made my hair very dry, but I cant really condition every day becuase I have fine hair that has absolutley no volume. So I was looking for some kind of conditioning treatment I can use maybe once every few weeks. Since I love Pantene ProV, I picked this one up. It says that it "reveals 5 signs of healthy hair in 3 to 5 minutes." Im really hoping it at least softens my hair a little bit.

2. Clean and Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser:Though I still love my regular face wash, Clean and CLear Morning Burst, I feel like trying something different once I run out of my current bottle. I will go back to it after I try this one though. But my skin has been feeling dryer latly, again, cuz of winter, so maybe this new face wash will remoisturize it enough so I can go back to using Morning Burst and still have smooth skin. I chose the Clean and CLear Deep Action CLeanser, becuase it is oil free, and it says it "removes dirt, and makeup without drying your skin". Definitely something I need in a face wash.

3. Jane Be Pure AquaCeuticals Sheer Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30: I HATE using foundation, but somedays I feel like I have to to even out my skin tone. Ive always wanted to see how a tinted moisturizer works, so I looked all through Rite Aid. I saw this one, and a Physicians Formula one, so i chose this onebecuase it is cheaper. Plus, this one is made with Organic Green Tea and White Tea extracts, and is 100% natural. I am really excited to try this tinted moisturizer out.

4. Maybelline Full N Soft Mascara: As I think I mentioned in a previous post, I wasnt thrilled with Cover Girl Lash Blast. So I gave that to my sister and have been using my usual one, Maybelline Sky High Curves, just cuz I like giving my lashes length ratehr then volume. But I have heard so many good things about Full N Soft, and Sky High Curves doesnt give to much vlume, Im going to give this a this one a try.

5. CoverGirl was on sale buy 1, get 1 free, so I bought a pressed powder, CG Smoothers in translucent fair. I always use Cover Girl Pressed Powders, but im not sure if I ever used this one. But Im pretty sure I'll like it, becuase i ever dont like a Cover Girl Pressed Powder.

For free, I got a Continuous Color Lipstick in Bronzed Peach. Its been a really long time since I bought a new lipstick, so Im very excited about this one.

6. Lastly, because ive heard so much about EcoTools, I bought the EcoTools bamboo blush brush. I am in need of a new blush brush anyway, so I jsut had to buy this.

Happy weekend everyone! Im soo excited today, becuase i just got my Hello Kitty makeup bag in the mail. It is adorable, and fits so much makeup. I love it so much!

Mascara Obsession

Ok, I went really obsessive over mascaras today, and thought I would share my thoughts with you, and maybe get some of your opinions. So, my sister insisted that I try Cover Girl Lash Blast, and I did, even though im usually a Maybelline girl when it comes to eye makeup. Now, I know there are sooo many people who love Lash Blast and think its amazing, but I just cant get into the hype. ive worn it the past two days, and while it does make my lashes fuller, I still like the way my lashes look with my usual mascara better. Plus, I can not get used to the huge Lash Blast packaging.

So what is my usual mascara? Maybelline Sky High Curves. i dont know why, but many reviews for it that ive read are bad. I have been using this mascara for years, and Maybeline in general has been the only brand mascara ive ever liked. And I think it does an amazing job! I get really good length from it, and my eyelashes do curl with it, despite what some reviews say about it not curling at all. Maybe thats just the way my lashes are?? I dont know.

But Iknow for sure now, that I would rather keep using Maybelline Sky High Curves then Cover Girl Lash Blast. Thats just not for me, I guess.

6 Products I Can't Live Without

I was watching BubbleGumPrincess's video today on the 6 products she cant live without, and thouhg it would be a good idea to let you guys know my 6 products I cant live without.

1. Clean and Clear Morning Burst Face Wash: This is the only face wash Ive used since it came out, which was years ago. I love it sooo much., though and i doubt i will ever use anything else.

2. Cover Girl concealer: This is my favorite brand of concealer, I usually use classic ivory, but as my sister claims that ivory is to light for my skin( even though im super pale), I decided to buy creamy natural at her recomnedation today. I'll be trying it tomorrow to see how it works out.

3. Cover Girl Presed Powder: Again, my favorite brand, and again, I bought the creamy natural today to try

4. Pantene ProV Leave In Conditioner: I have really fine hair, so I dont usuauly use regualr conditioner every day. i do, however, need something to keep it soft and knot free, and this does a great job of doing that.

5. N.Y.C. Black eyeliner pencil: I wear eyeliner almost every day, and this is the only one Ive tried so far that doesnt really smudge a lot by the end of the day.

6. Maybelline Sky High Curves Mascara: My fvoritr mascara at the moment. I did just buy Cover Girl Lash Blast though, so I'll be tying that out.

Shampoo: John Freida Sheer Volume Shampoo- omg, this product is the best volumizing shampoo I have ever used, its the only shampoo Ive considered using since it came out.

Conditioner: Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Conditioner- For some reason, the stores I go to never have the John Freida Sheer Volume Conditioner, so I have been using this instead. it's pretty good, not as good as the John Freida, but it works.

Styling Products: Pantene ProV leave in conditioner- Ive used this for as long as I can remember, I use it every single day. my hair is really fine, so it needs body, but it also gets dried out easily, which is why I use this. It protects my hair from heat styling and makes it easier to comb, all without flattening my hair.
:Herbal Essences Body Envy Mousse- My current fave mousse, i usualy alternate between this and Pantene ProV's mousses.

Body Wash: Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Creamy Body Wash- This is my all time favorite body wash, and my favorite scent from Bath and Body Works. I even just bought a new bottle becuase i am running out

Body Lotion: Right now I am using Bath and Body Works Sweet Temptations Strawberry Daiquiri lotion. I dont moisturize a lot even though I know I should, so ive had this bottle for a while. Once Im done with it, I'll try something new.

Deoderant: Dove Original Clean Deoderant: I just tried it for the first time this week, and I dont think I'll ever use another brand again. I love the scent, and it really lasts all day long without ever getting on my clothing.

Fragrance: I alternate between a few, but lately Ive been using bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar spray and Britney Spears Believe.

Face Wash: Clean and Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser- Ive used this for sooo long, its the best face wash I know of.

Mascara:Maybelline Sky High Curves- My absolute favorite mascara
